The Initiative has just rolled out the spring bags for the Kindness Bags that were rolled back out in January this year. We have updated the list and the amount of items to put in the bags. We ask that only 5 items max (unless they are smaller items that fit easier) to be put in the bag at a time. Once more bags have been made the Ripley United Methodist Church will help the team with putting up the sign and bags.
More information of when the sign is up and bags are ready will be given as time goes on. Updates will be posted on this site and the Initiative Facebook Page and Instagram Page.
The Initiative team has been posting daily on the “Be Kind Initiative” Facebook and Instagram Pages. The posts are messages of kindness and motivational sayings to help people get through this time if they are having a hard time. We welcome anyone to follow us and share those daily posts with others so we can help more and more people.

What is this “Be Kind Initiative” you ask? Well, let me explain it to you a little better. The Be Kind Initiative is a project that was started in honor of those who are bullied. This project is to help those who are bullied in our local schools and give them a sense of self-worth and let them know that there are people who care about them and want to help them. This project is not just a one-year thing; it will be every year. The plan for this Initiative is to have an item with six different positive sayings on them and putting them in the school lockers before the start of the school year so the kids see them as the first thing when they walk to their new lockers and start their new year of school.
Currently, I am assembling a team to work with me in this project that I have major plans for the future. I am looking for people who will help me in this project and keep everything that is planned in the honor of the bullied and to help those kids. If you might be interested in this and would be willing to help, please feel free to contact me at 716-223-0181 or email@example.com and I will answer any questions you might have and will give you any additional information about the initiative.
Help those who are bullied in schools as you all know or have heard about bullying sometime in your life and it is not something to take lightly, ever. This whole bullying thing has gone for generation after generation and has gotten worse than what it has been in the past. The Be Kind Initiative is here to help all kids no matter who they are, what they believe, what they do. This initiative is to help those kids and give them some hope that things will be better for them and that they have people willing to help. I hope you will join me in this and help many kids who are bullied feel better. Have a wonderful God filled day.
